    Methacton Online Grades 7-8 Sample Schedule

    • Students will follow their typical 6 day cycle schedule with each day organized into 8 periods of 45 minutes each.
    • School day will begin at 8:15 AM and end at 3:00 PM
    • Students will be provided Synchronous sessions and asynchronous sessions aligned to the student’s individual online schedule
    • Opportunities to engage with teachers synchronously
    • Continuation of support services
    • Related services will be delivered synchronously
    • Close of day meeting (8th period)
    • Parent support will vary based on individual student learning needs, however it is estimated to be significantly less, in general, than that of elementary (K-6) parents
    • Live teacher Lessons will be recorded and available asynchronously
    • Synchronous Zoom Breakout Rooms can be utilized throughout the day to address small group learning

     

    Methacton Online High School Sample Schedule

    • Students will follow their typical brick and mortar schedule of a 7 period per day of 46 minutes each
    • School day will begin at 7:35 AM and end at 2:20 PM
    • Synchronous and asynchronous sessions are aligned to the student’s individual online schedule
    • Range of academic courses offered, including AP classes, dual enrollment, honors
    • Opportunities to engage with teachers synchronously
    • Related services will be delivered synchronously
    • Parent support will vary based on individual student learning needs, however it is estimated to be significantly less, in general, than that of Arcola (7-8) parents
    • Live teacher Lessons will be recorded and available asynchronously
