Three Local Charities Receive Big Boost Thanks to Arcola's Philanthropy Club

June 7, 2021 - The Arcola Philanthropy Club has made three large donations to three charities that support children and families in the Greater Philadelphia area. The club presented a check for $500 to Variety Club, a check for $3,000 to Manna on Main Street, and a check for $3,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities. The donation to the Variety Club went toward updating the organization's sensory room. Students built a sensory wall and purchased items, such weighted vests and swings, to support wellness for Variety Club’s clients. The donation to Manna on Main will support that organtization's mission to reduce food insecurity in our local community. The donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities will go toward food distribution and helping to provide transportation to and from the hospital for families of critically-ill children. A very special thank you to the Phoenixville Health Foundation for sponsoring the Arcola Philanthropy Club.
