Skyview Teacher Mr. Shaun Permar

Skyview Upper Elementary School teacher Mr. Shaun Permar has been selected to receive an award next month for his outstanding efforts related to working with students and coordinating the Outdoor School experience. Mr. Permar will be celebrated for his work at the 8th annual Acorns to Oaks Gala on November 7, 2020. The event will be held virtually and is hosted by College Settlement Camp. Mr. Permar has served as Coordinator of the Outdoor Education program at Skyview since 2010 when the school opened. The Outdoor Education program aligns with the science curriculum and provides students with the opportunity to attend Outdoor School in the Spring. The annual overnight experience includes hands on and team-building science lessons for students. Congratulations to Mr. Permar!
