• On Wednesday, March 6th, our Methacton students and community came together to make a lifesaving difference by donating a total of 80 units of blood to the American Red Cross!

These 80 units of blood have the potential to save up to 240 lives. Methacton students donated an impressive 54 units, and our Methacton community members, including several district staff, donated an additional 26 units!

A special shoutout to members of the Methacton High School Red Cross Club. They supported the effort by working closely with our school nurses to ensure the smooth operation of the blood drive and recruiting donors. “My Red Cross Club members take their jobs very seriously and without them, we would not be able to have as many student donors as we [had]!” said Kathy Thompson, Methacton Nursing Care Coordinator.

    Way to go!
