Arcola Virtual STEAM Day is on Tuesday, March 30, 2021
STEM education is an interdisciplinary approach to learning where rigorous academic concepts are coupled with real-world lessons as students apply science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in contexts that make connections between school, community, work, and the global enterprise enabling the development of STEM literacy and with it the ability to compete in the new economy.*
At Arcola, we add the Arts to these contexts as well. STEAM Day brings professionals into Arcola to introduce our students to careers in these areas as part of our career and college readiness curriculum.
This year's presentations will be pre-recorded. Are you interested in speaking to students about careers? Please email Mark Mueller or call 610-489-5000 x30220 about making a recording to be shown during the day.
