Technology Update & Extended Hours for Tech Support
Dear Methacton Families,
We are pleased to announce that the technology shipments that were delayed will start to arrive in the district on Monday. In order to maintain an organized distribution process, we will begin sending emails to targeted grade levels, which will allow families to make an appointment to pick up a device for their student. Our distribution will also include families that responded to our Chromebook appeal.
Distributions for targeted groups are scheduled to begin on Monday, September 14. When you receive an email from the district to schedule an appointment for device pick up, please do not share the Signup Genius link with anyone as it specific to your device distribution grouping.
If you are unable pickup your child’s device during the designated distribution window, please call us at 610-489-5000 ext. 15025 and leave a message with your name, your child’s name, your child’s grade, and a contact number so we can assist you further.
Extended Hours for Technology Support
As we begin the distribution in the upcoming week, the Technology Office will be open for extended hours to assist our families that are having a hardware issue (broken keyboard, web camera, sound, etc.) with a district iPad, Chrome tablet, or Chromebook. We are located in the rear of the Farina Education Center, 1001 Kriebel Mill Road, Eagleville, PA 19403. Our office hours for tech support assistance are from 8am to 7pm, Monday, September 14 through Friday, September 18.
