Reminder: Safe 2 Say Something Resource

September 8, 2020

Dear Methacton students and families,

We are excited to welcome you back for the new school year on September 8. While summer break and social distancing had limited the contact students have with peers and other trusted confidants, I want to take this time to remind students that they can use the Safe2Say Something app and helpline to report anything that makes them or a friend feel unsafe or uncomfortable. Students can report tips about child abuse, bullying, racial bias, discrimination, threats, self-harm, depression, and other troubling behaviors or actions. All tips are anonymous. Safe2Say is a youth violence prevention program run by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General.
