• COVID - 19 Data Dashboard

NOTICE: Dashboard updates will resume August 19, 2022.

    CDC Community Transmission Levels

On February 25, 2022, the CDC issued new guidance on masking in schools. This guidance recommends masking indoors for schools that are in counties with “High” level of transmission. Transmission levels of “Low” and “Medium” do not have the masking recommendations. As of this notice, Montgomery County Pennsylvania is in the “Medium” transmission level. Therefore, today, 2/26/2022, beginning at 3:00PM EST, all Methacton Schools will proceed to a mask-optional environment.

Federal Transportation  Mask Requirement is now eliminated as of 2/25/2022. CDC does not require wearing of masks on buses or vans operated by public or private school systems, including early care and education/child care programs.” https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/face-masks-public-transportation.html

NOTE: Dashboard will be updated weekly (Friday)

Active cases represent the “as of date” number of students and employees that are a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 that are attending in person/on premises instruction or are students participating in athletics or extracurricular activities on premises within the past 10 days. The dashboard does not mean that an individual contracted COVID-19 while in a Methacton School District building or event.

The active district cases will be updated weekly regarding a positive case. Information received after 4 p.m. or on a weekend/holiday may be documented on the next school day.

Based on confirmed positive cases and the specific data associated with individual cases, the school nursing department and the Superintendent will confirm with the County Department of Health to determine the need to take any additional actions.

Students and staff are encouraged to follow safety protocols.
