Kindergarten Registration for the 2022-2023 school year will open on February 1, 2022 at 10AM.

Listed below are the directions and resources you will need to register your child.Registration Requirements and Expectations
- Residents of Lower Providence and Worcester Township are eligible to attend Methacton Schools.
- In order to be eligible to attend Kindergarten in the fall of 2022, resident children must be five years of age on or before September 1, 2022. Our school board policy# 201 does not allow exceptions to this date.

Step One: Online Pre-Registration for 2022-2023 School Year
You will begin the Pre-Registration process by clicking the button below or visiting this link. Please be sure the email address you provide in Pre-Registration is accurate. Once we verify that you live within the Methacton School District attendance areas and that your child is the proper age to start school (if entering Kindergarten or 1st grade) we will email you a link to complete the registration process.

Step Two: Gather Documentation Required
Documentation Required to Register Online
Important: These are the documents required to complete the online registration. Failure to upload these documents will result in delaying your child’s registration.
- Copy of Valid Parent/Guardian Photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, etc.)
- The student’s original birth certificate
- Proof of primary residence (current agreement of sale, current copy of lease agreement or current electric bill)
- Child's proof of current immunization:
- Copy of Immunization Record from your Health Care Provider or
- Copy of Immunization Record from your child's previous school
- Child Custody Agreement (if applicable)
- Multiple Occupancy Form (if applicable)
- If you and you child(ren) currently reside in a home that is owned/leased by someone other than yourself (parent, grandparent, friend, non-married significant other) you must:
- fill out a Multiple Occupancy Form,
- have the form notarized,
- provide a copy of the owner’s proof of residency (either provide a copy of the current agreement of sale, a current copy of lease agreement or a current electric bill)
- If you and you child(ren) currently reside in a home that is owned/leased by someone other than yourself (parent, grandparent, friend, non-married significant other) you must:
- First page of an IEP/GIEP/504 (if applicable)

Step Three: Create PowerSchool Parent Account & Upload Supporting Documents
Once the Pre-Registration form is approved, you will receive a system generated email with instructions on how to create Parent Portal Account or add to an Existing Account.
Once you have created an account, you will upload your child's supporting documents.

School-Aged Eligibility for Kindergarten and First Grade
Kindergarten
In order to be eligible to attend Kindergarten in September of 2022, resident children must be five years of age on or before September 1, 2022.
First Grade
In order to be eligible to attend First Grade in September of 2022, resident children must be six years of age on or before September 1, 2022.

Any visit to the Registration Office must be by appointment only. No walk-ins are permitted.
