Title I Program – Skyview Upper Elementary School
Skyview Upper Elementary School receives Title I funds. These funds allow us to provide additional support to students in the areas of Reading and Math. Parents may request information regarding the professional qualifications of their child’s teacher(s) and of paraprofessionals who provide instruction to their children through use of this funding.
Title I Parent Engagement Policy
Parental engagement and collaboration with educational staff is crucial to the development, progress and success of each child. Parent and student programs will be offered periodically to highlight the educational programs and supports at the building. Parents are encouraged to participate in these programs as well as in parent/teacher conferences. On going communication with teachers, Title I staff and our Reading and Math Specialist is encouraged. All families with children receiving Title I services will receive the Skyview Upper Elementary School parent compact. Our goal is to provide support and strategies to assist students in Math and Reading.
Parents are encouraged to contact Skyview Math Specialist, Ms. Emily Otero, Skyview Reading Specialist, Mrs. Amy Eraydin or Skyview Principal, Mrs. Melissa Gorla with any questions regarding the Title I program.
