Reporting Absences with PowerSchool

- Log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Need help logging in? Visit our PowerSchool page.
Note: If you are using a mobile device, you must utilize a web browser on your device. The PowerSchool app does not work for absence reporting. - Select the student for whom you would like to report an absence.
- On the left side bar, select Attendance Monitor.
- Select the blue button that says 'Report New Absence.'
- Complete the form, making sure to select the correct date and absence reason, and enter a brief explaination.
- Click 'Submit.' The school's attendance secretary will be notified of the absence.
Reporting an absence through PowerSchool replaces the need to send a written note and helps ensure compliance with the district’s requirement that all absences be documented within three (3) school days of the student’s return. The streamlined process will allow our schools to more easily process absences and ensure timely documentation.
