Community Education

Registration takes place through an online payment system for classes and programs. All payment, in the form of a credit or debit card, must accompany registration.  Online payments include a non-refundable processing fee of 4.57%.

Some of Community Education's activities online must be paid through HomeTown Ticketing:

• 2nd Friday Swims
• Open Gym Basketball
• Planetarium tickets

Cash is no longer accepted for the activities listed above.

Steps to get started:

1. Download the Hometown Fan App from your app store or go to www.methacton.org/tickets.
2. Type Methacton School District in search bar. Choose event/ # of tickets. Enter payment/contact info.
3. Enjoy the event. Present your ticket’s QR code in the app or from your email confirmation.

• Classes/camps will only be offered with sufficient enrollment. If a program is canceled, you will receive a phone call and/or email at least 48 hours prior to registration deadline or scheduled start of class. If the District cancels a program, your class fee will be refunded minus the 4.57% non-refundable processing fee for payments made online.
• In the event that schools are closed due to inclement weather, all evening programs are canceled. A cancellation notice will be posted on the District website and you will be notified via email. Please note that it is not always possible to reschedule classes/camps due to prior facility scheduling. On Flexible Instruction Days, a separate determination will be made for evening programs.

Cancellation requests must be received at least two weeks prior to the program's start date to receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than two weeks before the start date are subject to a $25.00 processing fee, which will be deducted from your refund. Please note that we are unable to issue partial or full refunds after the program has begun.
