    School Counseling

    PLEASE NOTE:

Due to the transition of our student records from sapphire to power school, transcripts will not be ready to leave the counseling office until the week of September 26, 2017. We  have reached out to colleges with rolling admissions and have been told that these dates will not have a negative impact on admissions review/decisions. We appreciate  your patience with this process.

There is a wealth of information on this website for students and parents to secure information regarding mental health resources as well as college and career planning information.  Please view the links on the left of this page to find what you are looking for.  If you can't find what you need, please reach out to one of our counselors.

Methacton High School counselors work closely with students to develop competencies in the areas of academics, personal/social and career development. Through individual counseling, classroom visits, and group presentations counselors help students understand their learning strengths and weaknesses, select appropriate courses, plan for the transition to college and careers, and meet personal challenges in a mature, productive way.
