• Skyview’s 5th Grade Team Comets celebrated the end of their school year with an in-class Carnival Day! The student’s English Language Arts, Math, and Science classes incorporated carnival themes and activities throughout the 2021-2022 school year. Students used those concepts to create their final projects. The final projects included the following 2 STEM activities:

    • Build a roller coaster out of paper and tape
    • Build a carnival game using cardboard and classroom tools

    Once the building of the carnival items was complete, students were tasked with creating a theme and decorating their new structures. Once finishing touches were added, each student’s project was featured at Carnival Day! Students were awarded with special achievements like “Longest Track” and “Best Theme”.

    Students and teachers enjoyed every minute of this rewarding experience!
