• ORDERING AP EXAMS 2024-2025

    Taking the Advanced Placement exams is an important part of all AP courses. Methacton High School desires that all students take AP exams for the AP classes that they have taken. Scoring well on an AP exam can often earn students college credit for their high school class, saving a significant amount on tuition.

    For the 2025 AP exams, students at Methacton High School will be registering online. Online exam registration will begin on Thursday, August 28, 2024 at 4:49 PM and end on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 11:59 PM. The AP exam registration process is two steps, but both can be completed in one sitting when the student and parent/guardian do this together. Even if you do not plan to take the AP exam, you need to complete both steps to access the College Board’s AP resources. Both steps must be completed in order to have AP exams ordered:

    Step 1: Begin the process by registering at www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/391366. Here you will indicate both the AP courses you are taking this year and the exams you wish to take. You will receive your join codes and directions to complete the second required step. Any exam fees will be paid online, so be sure to have a debit card or credit card available before beginning registration. Paying online is a great way to make sure that payment has been made while avoiding mailing payment.
    Step 2: Use the join codes provided at the completion of step one to enroll the student's AP courses and exams in the College Board's system.

    This year each AP exam costs $103.00. Methacton High School desires that every student be able to take their AP exams. Students requiring financial assistance should contact Dr Paul Spiewak, pspiewak@methacton.org, in the HS East Wing Office to learn more.

  • Methacton Advanced Placement (AP) Late Ordering

    Late ordering for AP Exams (for students currently enrolled in Advanced Placement Courses 2024-2025 school year) will occur Feb 21-March 14 2025. This only applies to those enrolled students who did not place an exam order in the fall. The cost of most exams will be $145 ($103 plus a $42 late fee applied by the College Board). The exception is the cost of AP Seminar & AP Research, which will be $192 ($150 a $42 late fee applied by College Board). Check, Credit Card or Cash can be brought into the East Wing Office to place this order. Checks can be made out to Methacton School District.

  • Methacton Advanced Placement Exams 2024-2025

    Methacton Advanced Placement Exams will be available to be ordered August 29,2024– November 9, 2024.  These exams are for students who are currently enrolled in an Advanced Placement Course for the 2024-2025 school year. Exams can be ordered electronically with a link being placed on our Advanced Placement Website which can be found  Here .  Additionally, payment can be made to Dr. Spiewak’s office in the East Wing. Check (made out to Methacton School District) or cash is accepted.  The exam fee is $103 per exam, with the exception of AP Seminar & AP Research which are $150. An exam cancelation fee of $42 will be enforced this year per College Board.
