• Getting Started with the Methacton LaunchPad (New Students and Existing Grade K-4 Students)

    Username & Password

    To begin, you will need your Methacton username and (default) password. This information is available for new students in the PowerSchool Parent Portal.  If a parent/guardian is a unable to access the Parent Portal directions can be found here:

    After signing into the portal, select School Information from the left menu. Listed under Student Information will be Student Number, Email, Username, and (default) Password. You will need the Username and Password listed here to log into the new Methacton LaunchPad.

    Accessing the LaunchPad

    The new LaunchPad is available at the following site:

    https://launchpad.classlink.com/methacton

    Students enter their Username and  Password, then click the Sign In button.

    Setting Password Security Questions

    After signing into the LaunchPad select the profile icon in the top right corner and then select the “My Profile” button.

    On the left menu, select the Password Recovery Setup option. On this page you will select three security questions and type in your own answers to these questions. The questions you select will be presented to you if you forget your password. Please record your answers below and save this information in a safe place. (Your answers are case sensitive so make sure to write then down the same way you entered them.)

    Changing Your Password

    We are asking that every student change their password after setting their password recovery security questions. To change your password, select the “Security” option from the left menu on the My Profile page. On this page you will select “Reset Password”, enter your existing password, your new password, and submit. Please record your password and save in a safe place.

    Please Note: The default password displayed in the PowerSchool Parent Portal is no longer valid after you have changed your password. The password displayed in the Parent Portal will not update to your new password.
