Thank you for visiting my website and being interested in learning a little about me.I have been teaching in the Methacton School District since 2006. Before this, I spent time in a kindergarten and first grade classroom in a neighboring district.I earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and Special Education (K-12) from LaSalle University in 2005 and a Master's degree from Walden University in 2010.
Professional Mission: It is my mission as an educator to provide my students with a safe and encouraging learning environment. It is my goal to have my students understand that I care about them not only as students, but also as people. I will provide opportunities for my students to learn and grow academically and socially, and gain a desire and motivation to be life-long learners.
Believe it or not, teachers DO have lives outside of school!I am married and have 5 wonderful children...well, they're not all exactly children. My husband and I live with our puppies, Sascha and Bauer, our son, Ryan and our twin girls, Keira and Morgan. (You will see and hear much about them!)In my free time you can find me playing with the kids, gardening, baking, or reading a good book!
