The Volunteer Process within the Worcester Home & School Association
General volunteers are recruited during the first few weeks of the school year to help assist Chairs with committee work. Please note:*The list of all volunteers are compiled by the Vice President and distributed to Chairs when completed (in the Fall).*The President ensures all programs/committees are in compliance with District and School policies, procedures, protocol and safeguards (as overseen by the Methacton Coordinating Council) and is a standing member of each committee.Important Information: Since the Fall of 2009-2010 school year, the District mandated increased security procedures for all volunteers to ensure the safety of our students. All volunteers must obtain 2 State Clearance checks + TB testing to be able to participate in any school programs. Compliance is being enforced by the Superintendent’s office. The H&S Organizations are acting facilitiators in the compliance process.NOTE: A volunteer must have sufficient clearances on file to perform in a volunteer-capacity.
