    Dear Parents/Guardians:

It’s a great time to be a part of the Eagleville School community. Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year!  We are excited to celebrate the growth and achievement of our students.  The district theme is The Power of WE, and at Eagleville we are champions; so, our theme is The Power of WE: WE ARE C.H.A.M.P.S. who demonstrate Character, Honesty, Acceptance, Motivation, Perseverance, and Safety. The Philadelphia Eagles and Villanova Wildcats were local champs this year, and we will continue on that path as we focus on working collaboratively to reach our personal and academic goals.  Watch us Learn, Lead, Succeed TOGETHER!

As demands and complexities of teaching children increase, it becomes more evident that we all need to work together to ensure that our children reach their potential.  We believe that all of us – the school and the community – must work together in an extended family environment to ensure success for all our students.  We believe it is everyone’s responsibility to empower children with the creative, intellectual, and decision-making skills necessary for them to become academically, socially, physically, and emotionally successful and responsible.  That’s the Power of WE!

With that in mind, you are invited to be an active participant at Eagleville School.  Whether you are a classroom volunteer, a member of Home and School, or a special event participant, you are encouraged to be involved!  Research on schools clearly demonstrates that parent participation in their child’s school coincides with a greater likelihood of academic success for their child.

It is our desire to keep you informed of all that is taking place at school.  Up-to-date and pertinent information is available on our school webpage and will be sent to you electronically via the “E-News” and monthly newsletter entitled The Eagles’ Nest.

Methacton School District has a district-wide elementary electronic handbook.  This addendum includes information that specifically pertains to Eagleville. You are encouraged to take the time to read through both documents in their entirety.

We are ready to soar this year!  Please partner with us in making this an awesome year of growth!  We are C.H.A.M.P.S! If you have questions, feel free to contact your child’s teacher, the office or me.  I am looking forward to our continued partnership.

    Your partner in education,

    Dr. Zanthia D. Reddish, Principal
