Eighth grade U.S. History students are expected to:
    • respect their classmates and teachers inside and outside the classroom
    • be prepared for class (with pencil, pen, paper, and notebook every day, and textbook, flash drive or online storage account [such as www.box.net] when required) 
    • read and follow directions on all assignments & assessments
    • complete assignments on time and neatly (including no ripped or severely wrinkled paper, using legible handwriting, blue or black ink or pencil, etc.)
    • be personally responsible for missing class notes, assignments, or other information following an absence
    Students will be asked to complete a variety of assignments using their textbook and other sources, both traditional and online. 
    When appropriate, students should feel free to use a computer/word processor for assignments.
