Eighth grade U.S. History students are expected to:
respect their classmates and teachers inside and outside the classroom
be prepared for class (with pencil, pen, paper, and notebook every day, and textbook, flash drive or online storage account [such as www.box.net] when required)
read and follow directions on all assignments & assessments
complete assignments on time and neatly (including no ripped or severely wrinkled paper, using legible handwriting, blue or black ink or pencil, etc.)
be personally responsible for missing class notes, assignments, or other information following an absence
Students will be asked to complete a variety of assignments using their textbook and other sources, both traditional and online.
When appropriate, students should feel free to use a computer/word processor for assignments.
