DAYS/HOURS: 247 days plus 13 holidays
8 hours per day includes .5 hour unpaid lunch

REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Experience with PIMS as a PIMS administrator dealing with all data collections, state updates, and working with supervisors.
- Experience with PowerSchool as a comprehensive student information system.
- Ability to easily grasp new ideas, concepts, methods and technologies and have excellent communication, interpersonal, technical, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Must attend webinars, meetings, and/or conferences conducted by state and/or information system vendors.
- Ability to function in a team environment and demonstrate team leadership skills.
- Must be organized, able to manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks appropriately.
- Must have good communicate skills both verbally and in writing.
- Must possess the ability to work at tasks with extended attention to detail.
- Must possess the ability to interact with others in a positive manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES: This diversified position provides the technological assistance required to support the work of the Technology Department and Administrative Team in the district. Whereas the work scope could relate to any or all school district technology support, the primary emphasis is maintaining systems and collecting necessary data from various district used programs and systems for completion of reports. This person much be motivated to learn and create new and efficient processes to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. More specific responsibilities:

- Experience with building database queries joining multiple tables using SQL query language.
- Ability to create, organize, and maintain the structure of the reporting available as well as provide direction to the district staff on where and how to retrieve information.
- Experience with data extraction from SIS and district applications to produce reports as requested by administration and school district staff.
- Ability to create PowerSchool SIS reports to proactively assist with data validation.
- Work with third party vendors as necessary to generate files from district data systems to external data systems.
- Coordinate data entry, data maintenance, and data correction in district information systems for PIMS reporting.
- Ability to test new PowerSchool technologies (plug-ins) on district test server and make recommendations to the district.
- Maintains one or more test servers to provide access to data from prior school years and to test system updates/changes before performing on production server.
- Creates and manages PowerSchool accounts for administrators, teachers, and other staff.
- Ability to verify proper access levels as are assigned in SIS.
- Communicate with company hosting SIS server and with district staff regarding SIS outages due to system maintenance.
- Any projects or assignments as assigned by the Director of Technology.

Methacton contracts all our per diem substitutes, long-term subs and guest teachers through Substitute Teacher Service (STS). STS is located in Aston, PA with additional offices in Lancaster, Harrisburg, Hatboro-Horsham, as well as Newport, DE. They service several districts in the tri-county area. INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANTS - Casual-On-Call (Subs)
We are looking for qualified candidates to work in special ed classrooms under the direction of the Spec. Ed. teacher and/or supervisor. Rate of pay: $12.75/hr.
Responsibilities inc. but are not limited to, working with the students to stay focused during classroom instruction, small group reinforcement as directed by teacher, supporting the teacher as needed, accompanying students to expressive arts classes, etc.
