Methacton Communications

  • The Methacton School District is committed to quality communication with our families and other stakeholders. We seek to continuously improve our practices, and provide access to information in ways that best meet our community's needs.

    PowerSchool

PowerSchool serves as the central hub for all student information within our district. This system grants families convenient access to a comprehensive range of data, encompassing student contact details, attendance records, transportation arrangements, academic schedules, grades, and much more. To ensure you receive timely communications from the school district, it is crucial to keep your contact information within the PowerSchool system current and accurate.

    Email Communications/ Phone Calls

Methacton School District maintains consistent communication with parents/guardians via email, providing essential updates. These include calendar reminders, notifications of school closures or early dismissals, emergency alerts, and informative newsletters from both the district and individual school principals. We use a program called SchoolMessenger which works in coordination with PowerSchool to send those messages out.

If you are not receiving email communications from the Methacton School District, please contact your school building's secretary, or the Communications Office at information@methacton.org

In the event of an emergency, you may also receive a phone call and/or a text message from the Methacton School District.
