•  Q.  What do I need for Math class each day?
     
    A. Students should have a Math workbook, a sheet of loose-leaf paper for scrap paper, a red (or other color) pen to check homework, and a pencil each day.  All Math, including homework, should be done in pencil.
     
     
     

    Q.  How do I know what I have for homework? 
     
     
    A. Homework is listed on the whiteboard every day, which students are expected to copy in the assignment book. Also, please check the assignments section of the Team USA Page for daily updates.  Team USA Homework
     
     
     
     
     
     
    Q. Where can I access my online Math book?   

     

     

    • A. Glencoe Math student website- ConnectEd

        You can get homework help (e-Help), watch a demonstration of topics from class (My Tutor), watch animations of concepts, and practice math facts (Facts Dash game).  You can also take a quick online quiz to check your understanding (which doesn't count) and find forgotten homework pages to complete on paper to hand in.  I count that as completed homework.

       
       
       
      Q. How is my Math grade calculated?
       
      A.   Tests -  45% of marking period grade
               Quizzes/ Projects -  25% of marking period grade 
             Classwork -  20% of marking period grade  (Includes daily Math work and selected classwork)
             Homework - 10% of marking period grade  (Includes written homework and ALEKS)
       
       
       
       
      Q.  Are tests and quizzes sent home?
       
      A.  Tests and quizzes are not sent home.  Students have time to look over grades and mistakes, and ask questions. If a student or parent needs more information about a particular test or quiz, please ask.
