On November 17, 2022, Eagleville Elementary school was featured on Fox29’s Kelly’s Classroom. Traffic Anchor Bob Kelly reported on Eagleville’s Read-A-Thon, which raised $18,000! Students read a combined 44,589 minutes. Mrs. McGonigle’s 2nd grade class had the most minutes read, totaling 6,414 minutes. They earned a pizza party and an opportunity to be on television thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Beam. Honorable mentions also go to Mrs. Offenback’s kindergarten class, Mrs. Caliri’s 1st grade class, Mrs. Stankus’ 3rd grade class and Mr. Landis’ 4th grade class for each being the first in their level to reach 2,000 minutes read. A special thank you to Eagleville’s Home & School for supporting the Read-A-Thon and Mrs. Chrissy Siriani for leading the initiative.
