  • School Calendar Revisions

    Recent action by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) will require additional revision to the district’s 2017-2018 instructional calendar. As a result of the strike, PDE has rescinded the district’s ability to use “Act 80” days to count towards the student attendance requirement under school code. Given that the strike lasted three days, and the 2017-2018 school calendar included use of nine Act 80 days, 12 additional student attendance days (at certain levels) must be included in a revised school calendar.   • Textbook Review - Review and feedback on the proposed 6th grade Science Tech e-textbook will be taken until October 24. To review, visit the Farina Education Center during business hours - Monday through Friday 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. The Farina Center is located at 1001 Kriebel Mill Road in Eagelville.


    School Board Meeting Location Change - The location for the Tuesday, October 24 meeting of the Methacton School District Board of School Directors has been changed to the auditorium at Arcola Intermediate School. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.
