Skyview students and staff celebrated the pillar of CITIZENSHIP on Friday, December 19, 2014 during our community service day. Students donated items and heard about the work of the following organizations: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Logan Hope, Ronald McDonald House, the Salvation Army and the Montgomery County Senior Activity Center. Students created cards for patients at Einstein Hospital. Guest readers from across the district shared Rudyard Kipling’s poem, “If” with students. This event is held each year and reinforces the pillars of Character Counts within our school community – Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship. Check out the video clip above of photos from this event!
