Over 140 students participated in the first Audubon Science Fair on the evening of February 15, 2012.   Students worked in teams or as individuals in preparing, displaying and explaining their projects.  We are thrilled with the number of participants and impressed with how creative and articulate all presenters were.   We look forward to continuing this great event and trying to cultivate more student interest next year. 

 

 

 

 

During the week of February 6th-10, students at Audubon celebrated February's Heart Month by holding it's Annual Jump Rope for Heart event.  Jump Rope for Heart is sponsored by the American Heart Association and it is a fundraiser to help support Heart Disease and Stroke research.  The picture below is showing student's made posters supporting this event and cause.  We will update you with the total amount of funds raised for this great cause when they are tabulated.
