I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.  I continued my education at St. Joseph's University and earned my Master's in Elementary and Special Education.  After having taught special education in a variety of capacities as well as being a regular education language arts teacher, I realized I could better help children by improving their reading.  In 2006, I obtained another Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist from Gwynedd Mercy College.  I continue my education daily.

     I come from a large family, where I am the youngest of 7 children.  I have 17 nephews and nieces who I enjoy spending time with during my vacation and breaks.  My wife and I enjoy traveling with our two German shepherds.
