Kindergarten and First Grade Registration Spring registration is complete. You may still register your new Kindergarten students; simply contact your child's school at the extensions below to arrange for registration.
First grade registrations begin on April 1. Registration forms can be found below. Please call your elementary school in order to notify them of your request to register. Schools can be reached by calling 610-489-5000 and dialing the extensions listed below. Kindergarten Eligibility In order to be eligible to attend Kindergarten in September of 2013, resident children must be five years of age on or before September 1, 2013. If you missed this registration period, please contact your child's elementary school as soon as possible to schedule registration. Pennsylvania Department of Health immunization requirements for Pennsylvania school students: For attendance in all grades: 4 doses of tetanus* (1 dose on or after the 4th birthday) 4 doses of diphtheria* (1 dose on or after the 4th birthday) 3 doses of polio 2 doses of measles** 2 doses of mumps** 1 dose of rubella (German measles)** 3 doses of hepatitis B 2 doses of varicella (chickenpox) vaccine or history of disease *Usually given as DTP or DTaP or DT or Td **Usually given as MMR Additional immunization requirements for seventh grade students: 1 dose of tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap) (if 5 years have elapsed since last tetanus immunization) 1 dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV) Kindergarten Packet Below are all the forms you will need to register your student, and information about the Kindergarten program in the Methacton School District.
