Welsh C106 About Our AP Class This year you will be exploring a variety of texts and genres. We will hurtle through time and experience literature representing the Greek Classical Age through theatre of the absurd. Advanced Placement English 11 students are expected to read and respond to various and sophisticated literary expressions that are appropriate to a college-level course. Students will analyze the elements of language and demonstrate through written, oral, and creative means how these devices reflect theme/meaning. This course also expects students to demonstrate understanding about how social, political, intellectual, and artistic forces shape literary works.
