KIDS TIME CAMPS are run by Methacton School District certified teachers, with a registered nurse on the premises during camp hours. Camps start out with fitness activities and will proceed with activities and crafts that correspond with the weekly theme. Tuesday and Thursday mornings, students will be bussed to and from the Methacton High School in order to enjoy swimming in the pool! Don t forget your bathing suit and towel! Our goal is for your child to have a great day in a safe, kid-friendly environment.

SUMMER BAND AND ORCHESTRA CAMPS - This is a great way to help students transition from elementary school to Skyview.  All students will get a jump start on instrument playing skills for the upcoming school year.

FIREBIRD THEATER –MUSICAL THEATER CAMPS:  Seussical Jr. Workshop – ages 12 to 18.  Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters! Disney’s the Jungle Book – ages 7 to 12. The jungle is jumping with a jazzy beat!

SHINING KNIGHTS CHESS CAMPS - Half day and full day camps available. Students are grouped by skill level, so we accept anyone from total beginners up through experienced and highly-rated tournament players.

BANBAO EDUCATIONAL TOYS: Pullback Car Frenzy or Hi-Tech Car Fury - These courses are jammed pack with science and engineering! Students will build numerous cars using Lego and other compatible bricks.

SCIENCE EXPLORERS: Take A Dive or Potions, Powders & Polymers - Dive into the world of marine biology and oceanography, or create erupting foam monsters and amazing experiments!

BRICKS 4 KIDZ: A Pirate’s Quest; Galaxy Far Far Away, or Amusement Park camps - Build a motorized pirate ship, NASA and Star Wars models, or a new amusement park ride that spins and turns!

COMPUTERTOTS: Awesome Robotics or Create 3D Video Games - Have fun building and programming a car, Ferris wheel, or crane, or use your creativity to create a 3D video world.

KIDS AND KANINES - Join us at Mollys Country Kennels where kids will build a strong relationship with their canine friend.  Learn basic obedience commands, tricks, agility training, and go over diet, health and some pet First Aid.

CLAY THAT COMES TO LIFE! Campers use hand building techniques as coiling, pinching, slab construction, and press molding to create clay characters from stories in books. 

RECYCLED CRAFTS CLUB – Create something useful or fun from items that you would usually throw out or recycle!

BEGINNING JEWERLY MAKING – Learn beading patterns and how to wire wrap to create a beautiful pendant. 

KITCHEN WIZARDS: Eat Like the Presidents; Eat Like an Olympian, Beginning Cooking, or Chocolate Camps – prepare favorite receipts from current/past presidents or Olympians.  Budding chefs learn to make delicious meals.  For the chocolate lover learn how to prepare everything chocolate! 

BOYS BASKETBALL - “Learn Basketball the Warrior Way” with Jeff Derstine – Basketball Elite Academy Gr. 7-8, Basketball Elite Academy Gr. 5-6. Warrior Boys Basketball Camp – all camps are designed to provide opportunities for basketball skill development in a fun and competitive environment. 

BOYS LACROSSE CAMP – Teaching fundamentals of lacrosse at both the team and individual levels. Small group instruction, fun/developmental games, team concepts and prize giveaways!

GIRLS FIELD HOCKEY CAMP – Focus of the camp will be skill development, small side games, tactical drills, game play and of course - fun!

CHEERLEADING - Campers will learn cheers, chants, jumps, stunts and dances. At the end of the camp, there will be a brief performance for parents and friends!

 GOLD CARDS - Any Methacton School District resident who is at least age 60+ can request a Gold Card.  Gold Card holders receive a 5% discount on most community education programs.  To receive a Gold Card, please send a note with a copy of your driver's licence or other form of ID showing proof of age and residency. Email to kkifer@methaton.org, fax to 610-489-5019, or mail or drop off at Methacton School District, 1001 Kriebel Mill Road, Eagleville, PA  19403, attn Community Education.   A Gold Card will be mailed to you.
