Hello! I am a National Board Certified Teacher, have taught science to grades 7-12 for 22 years, and am assistant sponsor to the Arcola Science Fair Team. I have three children and really like enjoy both teaching and learning! I enjoy taking classes that take me to interesting places and have had some amazing experiences which include trapping vampire bats in Mexico, swimming with sea lions in the Galapagos, and excavating dinosaur bones in South Dakota. My educational background includes a B.S. in biology, an M.S. in biology, and a M.E. in educational technology. I am looking forward to working with members of the class of 2017 this year!
I serve on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Science Teacher Association and the National Middle Level Science Teacher Association, and serve the National Science Teacher Association in a variety of roles.
