Woodland Celebrates Immigration Day
During Woodland's annual Immigration Day, parents Mr. Kumar (India), Mrs. Augustine (Italy), Mrs. Herbison (Ireland), and grandparent, Mrs. Alston (Germany), shared their cultural and tradition stories with the children. Our speakers shared maps and photos of their homelands, stories from books, languages, cookies, items from their families and heritage, and even dances! It was a great day for all.
