This very special annual Audubon event, planned by Audubon faculty and staff, included musical tributes to each branch of the United States armed forces and a candle lighting ceremony in honor of all veterans, especially veterans from Audubon students' families, who were gathered at the event.  Pennsylvania State Senator John Rafferty spoke to the students about the need to show gratitude to our veterans, and honor to the country.

 

 

 
Audubon Elementary School Celebrates Heart Month 

 

During the week of February 6th-10, students at Audubon celebrated February's Heart Month by holding it's Annual Jump Rope for Heart event.  Jump Rope for Heart is sponsored by the American Heart Association and it is a fundraiser to help support Heart Disease and Stroke research.  The picture below is showing student's made posters supporting this event and cause.  We will update you with the total amount of funds raised for this great cause when they are tabulated.
