     The 7th grade guitar class is an introduction to the guitar.  Students learn the basics of guitar handling and proper playing techniques.  Students are graded through daily participation, a quiz, and two performance tests

                    Proper finger placement

                    Basic strumming techniques

                    Single finger chords  (C, G, G7)

                    Simple songs  (Song for Test 1)

                    Changing between two chords (C, G7)

                    Two and Three finger chords  (D, A7,G)

                    Advanced songs (Songs for Test 2)
